Le grèbe huppé – Podiceps cristatus – est une espèce commune sur le Léman.

Nous pouvons l’observer toute l’année.

C’est au printemps qu’il revêt son plus beau plumage.

Il nous gratifie alors d’une parade spectaculaire, à la chorégraphie remarquable, mixant les mouvements de têtes et les courses sur l’eau.

Nous étions au début de la période et des premières chaleurs printanières. Le temps d’apprendre à se connaître.

The Great Crested Grebe – Podiceps cristatus – is a common species on Lake Geneva.
